I hold my head high as an Alabama fan and don't feel 1 bit ashamed of it if that's what you mean.

It hasn't always been easy, so I'm living up the good times 100%.

Live it up while you can . . . it isn't as easy as Nick and Urban make it look. I know I am.

Alabama football is usually a family thing. Families get together, have social events, and everyone watches the game.

If I go visit my parents on a college football weekend - it's going to be a party and Alabama football is going to be the center of the day. And yes, my mom is more of a fanatic than my dad.

I didn't choose to be an Alabama fan, I was born into it. Some of my earliest memories in life involve Alabama football and my family. It's just what you do.

Its this way for a lot of football teams.

Is the sec the only conference where you can win two conference games and make a bowl?

I mean, you could go 2-6 in conference and hold wins over UK and Vandy only then find yourself packing the bags for a bowl.

I do not believe it to be the only one, but, yes, an SEC team could go 6-6 (2-6) and receive a Bowl invitation.
