Because the hitter did not play for the 79 Pirates, but he does have something in common with Dale Berra.

Berra was on the 79 Pirates, but Tim Foli was the player I should have used.

I'm stumped. Trea Turner has stolen a fair amount of bases but no way he's been around long enough to have more hits than Altuve.

That was a good question. I had to go back and look at that earlier thread. He kind of flies under the radar. I actually have tried to get his autograph several times by waiting outside the parking lot but every time it turned out he had already left the building.
