There have been 6 since Vida Blue won it.....All 6 are from the NL and Blue is the last AL player to have done it which is still a great question.....Most always answer Mickey Mantle......Answer: Jimmy Rollins in 2007 (was Chipper Jones before that)

I coulda sworn Eddie Murray won an MVP at some point, but nope.
A true HOFer…Was runner-up in 82' & 83'
Like I said, really easy. But there are lots of articles out there claiming Ichiro was the only one.Ichiro and Vida Blue?
The defense dropped a foul fly that that batter hit? When is a home run, the only run in an inning, an unearned run?
Pitcher B's runs are earned. This question reminded me of a question I had regarding unearned runs a while back…
Pitcher ”A” starts the inning. He gets two outs, but then an error is committed and he melts down. He ultimately gives up multiple runs, ending with a base clearing HR. Pitcher “B” enters the game (with 2 outs) and proceeds to give up 2 additional runs before finally getting the 3rd out of the inning.
There is no question that all the runs against “A” are unearned. The pitcher “earned” the 3rd out. Anything that happened after that is “unearned”.
But what about the 2 runs that “B” gave up? He came into a clean 2-out situation. The fact that there was an error before he came in does not affect him in any way. So are his runs earned or unearned?
I see the argument both ways. For the team ERA, they should be unearned. But for the individual pitcher, the error didn’t effect him in any way.
