The first Sac Fly in 2008 Carlos Gomez was the runner on 2nd and The O's Adam Jones slipped on the wet warning track after catching the ball, so Gomez was able to score easily from 2nd.

In 2015 The Pirates Jung Ho Kang was shifted from SS over to the 2nd base side of the bag at second. Mauer hit a ground ball right to short that rolled less than 200 feet before coming to a stop. Starling Marte lolli-gagged and Shane Robinson, Danny Santana and Brian Dozier all scored. The slow former catcher Mauer wisely chose not to try stretch it into a double.

I saw both plays live in different sports bars after work.

Fair enough, but I could have started with "Spent his entire career in the AL" Or "Is an obviously slow runner, because someone with even average speed would never have a 3-run single."

Both of those achievements have almost nothing to do with the batter. They both depend on the speed of the runners already on base. Guesses will be just that, guesses. If you don’t already know the answer, you can’t logically figure it out.
