Considering the Prust precedent I suppose that's about right. The Prust hit was later, but the Moore hit blindside.

And Moore has no history. 2 is completely appropriate.

I haven't read that but I wouldn't be surprised. He looked a bit off leaving the ice. He did come back to the bench though, but didn't go back in.

Darn, that actually hurts I think.

Was he cleared to return to action or was he just allowed back on the bench? It seemed like he was in the dressing room for a while and I only think he came back on the bench with a couple minutes left and just sat there. I don't think he went back on the ice, but I could be wrong.

Regardless, if you suspect a concussion, he's not going back out there. Last place you want a guy is in a loud/bright environment where he could get hit with something on the bench. Also could hop over the boards even if you've told him not to.

This series has gone ugly. Diving, inconsistent refs (both ways) and these two jagoffs (Prust and Moore). The fact that both of them made premeditated decisions to injure and only got 2 games each is mind boggling. If the NHL really wanted to limit serious injuries they would be done for the playoffs and some of next year. Judging by the suspensions in this series, seems like they're more concerned about protecting their dogshit officials.

Rex Ryan is a Rangers fan...

And his teammates I’m sure said the same thing. Nobody needs to say anything, that was impressive. But the guts they showed, they’re down 3-1 against Pittsburgh, and come back and rally and take that series. That was fantastic.”

Ryan is a hockey aficionado from way back.

“Growing up, I was a Ranger fan and a Maple Leaf fan, if that’s possible,” Ryan said. “I lived in Toronto, and my dad [Buddy] was in New York, so that’s kinda how I grew up … Eddie Giacomin, Brad Park — I can give you ‘em all — Walt Tkaczuk, Rod Gilbert, you name ‘em, Jean Ratelle … I could name every one of ‘em.”
