Yep that's horrible and the sad part is that wasn't the last time he did that, fortunately the refs got a hold onto that and called just him for a penalty the next time

Embellishment continues until it's ignored. It's hard to blame guys when they're buying their team a 2 minute PP. Toews dove last night, team scored on the PP...how can you really be mad at that (unless you're a Kings fan)? I'm pretty competitive, and I'm not a professional athlete, so I'd probably take part in that.

Personally I don't think Toews dove but that's just me - there are certain ones where it's more subtle than others - the ones we've been talking about are flat out obvious and even a monkey could figure out that was embellishment(Plekanec stuff) - you don't have to look like a bumbling idiot if you're going to embellish and give your team a PP - you can do it in a subtle manner

Depends on your definition of a diving really. He was trying his best to draw penalties, which is what elite players do, and in doing so went down easy. There is a difference, but it's slight. Plekanec's instances are a bit over the top because they're not just reacting to a stick, they're delayed and exaggerated. Both have the same meaning. Regardless: the refs continue to call penalties when embellished, it will continue to happen.

Hhaha, and they're welcome to disagree. This series has been far too entertaining to not go 7.


Part of me as a relatively neutral team feels a bit cheated though...just thinking how different this series could have been with Price.
