Is that part of Prust's game? I remember him as a Ranger obviously and can't recall him being quite the hitter.

no I don't believe this is his game BUT what he did was intentional and had purpose which I understand. His team is going to be dead if they don't win that game and he comes out to let the world know ' the Habs are here and we're not backing down or quitting" etc. Ok fine I get that but still what he did was illegal and was meant to injure there is no question about that in my opinion. Therefore he must pay and should have been held accountable immediately. This isn't about the Rangers keeping their cool and not being drawn into penalties. The game has just started we're up 2-0 in the series and as a player you have to expect someone to try what Prust did and be ready to commit murder when it happens. the Habs were desperate , they aren't now.

Oh ya, he's all over the place and not in a good way... Idk if its the lights or maybe that sense of urgency?(who wouldn't with Lunq stopping everything)....

Subban is not holding himself discipline and really is trying to force the issue... maybe that's good but take the bad with if so...

Eventually I see Subban and the Habs wearing out as the series progress... the whole bunch of them, from what I've seen 2 full games of 3, they are going hard and not stopping.... Rangers should be in position, as are, to win it cuz they really haven't played an onslaught type game themselves yet outscored them by a big margin.

even after last nite the Rangers are in the drivers seat and should win this w/out going 7. They are obviously the better team right now and more than Montreal can handle.

And for three second clips of the player snapping at a coach that one time ever.

In fact, Cook died in Kingston at the age of 89, in 1986, of cancer.

Stepan having surgery right now for a broken jaw ... yikes

Dan Rosen ‏@drosennhl now

Vigneault says Stepan broke his jaw yesterday and is getting operated on. No timetable for return. NYR found out this morning.

Vigneault said Rangers will know more about how long Stepan will be out after his surgery. Woudn't say he'd definitely be out Sunday.

Also, Glenn Healy was trying to critique Henrik Lundqvist's rebound control, saying he should have placed the rebound elsewhere

On the game winner? For the love of... I teach young goalies that move. 99 times out of 100 it goes gently into the corner and is broken out. You don't want to try and make the stop with your pads from that angle and cover because it could bounce right into the slot. Or you might not get it covered.

So are they supposing it was on the Prust hit? Has anyone said that out loud yet?

:omg:

I don't know if there is any way a broken jaw is not accompanied by a concussion. You hit your face hard enough to break your jaw, your brain is going to hurt.

Although, after I got mine wired shut I was back on my bike in a week or two.
