There was a Ranger coming to the crease right as the puck got there. Saying there was nobody there isn't accurate in my opinion. Meh - it is what it is now.

So if that's your man step up and play him before he gets to the crease, don't sit back and wait for him to get there so that you're both in the crease.

Sounds like AV is trying to justify what Dan Carcillo did there

Pretty sad I missed this ending. I was in full cleaning/packing mode...and when I get in that mood I can't stop, or I'll never start again. Allllll about the momentum.

Just saw that Prust hit. Yuck. Just a *bit* late and high.

It does bare mentioning:
The last time the Habs swept a playoff series, they went on to win the Cup. that same run, they also won a series where they lost the first two games at home (vs Quebec)

Just sayin...

Close. They lost the first 2 games in Quebec City. They were undefeated at home in the playoffs until Game 1 on the SCF which ended up being their only home loss. They did however win game 3 in OT against Quebec to avoid going down 3-0.

Somehow I don't think the Rangers will be too broken up about that.

Yep I think the league is helping the Rangers out here

*See there isn't any conspiracy!*

Good game Johnny. Nice tying goal, I figured that was it.

Funny game. With the possible exception of goaltending I think the Habs were better in every aspect of the game in game 2. Yet they lost that and win this one. No matter what, they need to play better in game 4.

Thanks, bud!

Idk why everyone is counting you guys out. Just cause no Price in net, doesn't mean anything. Series is still a toss up. The Habs got under our skin early and it worked for them. Rangers were rattled early on

Good try with the baiting here, Marcus..

Guess me cleaning up my act meant nothing, oh well.

Let's see if they look at Prust's hit. Carcillo is gone, no doubt in my mind about it. And i'm not gonna sit here and be a homer, he will get what he deserves.

He's right though. If that was Carcillo or Dorsett with the late hit up high, it's called instantly. The reffing was poor from the start. I guess sticking up for your player as a coach is fround upon now? :L

Fact of the matter is, Prust got away with a very dirty hit. He'll get a slap on the wrist.
