Honestly though, I don't know why the Rangers would keep things confidential just so that Prust can be suspended - it's not like he's a big part of the Habs - it shouldn't be a big deal to keep things confidential just so a guy like that could be suspended

But it would be unfortunate if Prust gets suspended because Stepan broke his jaw, when his jaw never broke on that play - yes, Prust was a little bit late there but I hope they don't suspend him because of the jaw because that would be wrong if it is true that the break didn't come from that hit

It's not about who is getting suspended, the Rangers could benefit from playing the refs a bit making the statement that the hit, that they kinda missed as far as in game punishment, resulted in a major injury. The fact that it's Prust doesn't matter so much. Gamesmanship. Going back to AVs comments before, while it was stupid to say, he's not wrong. The refs lost control. Doesn't mean a linesman deserved to be elbowed, but the refs brought that whole scene into the game.

As for whether injury becomes a factor in the suspension, it definitely will. Without knowing Prusts suspension history, the hit alone is worth 3 games because it was so late. But we've seen a number of times where the league lets up on egregious hits because the victim wasn't hurt and add onto marginal ones because someone got hurt.

The Canadiens got their payback for the Price injury. Leave it at that.

They were in our heads from start to finish. The Rangers' never say die, tied it late with a fortunate bounce. But Hank lets in a soft one in OT for the loss.
