The bar owners association believes it violates the Bell Centre's liquor license for alcohol to be sold when no live event is taking place in the Bell Centre itself.

The association has already complained to Quebec's Regie des Alcools which ruled in favour of the Bell Centre, saying that because the game was happening live, even on television, it qualified as a live event.

You can't compare the Brandon Prust and Dan Carcillo situations - they're both different

Dan Carcillo can't touch a referee like he did, he deserved the suspension - frankly what they should have done was just suspend him for the playoffs because technically the Rangers could play 11 more games and he could get back for a Game 7

Brandon Prust's suspension is fair - the issue was that his hit was late - he didn't lift his feet off the ice nor make contact with the head - he went shoulder to chest which is fair, the issue was that it was late and it's perceived that the broken jaw was because of the hit, but I'm still not sure if that's the case

I actually think the jaw didn't come into play. The hit was late and high. I expected him to get 2 games before I even saw the news about the broken jaw. It was a clear intent to injure.
