Ok, guys, Johnny has toned it down and understands, I ask the rest to do the same. No more baiting the poor guy, k? :)

Okay, I guess I will let it slide when the fans at MSG react to a play and ask for a penalty.

No one in MSG does that because MSG is a mausoleum.

Patience, Johnny, you'll get into the flow of things here soon. Speaking as a member of a fanbase that has had to endure years of vitriol over their team and specifically one player being a media darling, you'll survive, and anything being thrown your way pales in comparison. :)

Homerism is fine here on the General board, it just needs to be tempered a bit with some objectivity. We have practically every fanbase represented here (FUCK DALLAS), so if everyone was too over the top with their homerism, it wouldn't be a fun place here for anyone. If you can't agree with someone's objective or even subjective opinion, then just agree to disagree and move on. Full-on homerism is better served on the team boards.

OV >> Crysby

To be fair, it will be bug versus windshield when the Best faces the Least in the SCF.

Am I still allowed to tell him Rick Nash is coming back to Columbus eventually?

so habs are pussies for letting Kreider walk out unscathed and if they go after him they are the dirtiest pricks on the planet cant have both. , not really time to go vendetta hunting down in the series. even at 3-1 they were not out of the game. it would be new york islander stupid to go after him at that time.

Yeah agreed - that's all I've heard so far - if the Habs go after him they're playing dirty, if they don't they're pussies

You can't be hunting for players at this point, but at the same time, the Rangers can't act surprised if one of the Habs go after him at some point

Who said that? Or you guys just making shit up?

12:06PM: It is a maintenance day for Pouliot. ([ame="http://twitter.com/PLeonardNYDN/status/469147242784247809"]Leonard[/ame])
12:05PM: Benoit Pouliot is not on the ice. [ame="http://twitter.com/PLeonardNYDN/status/469147100559585280"](Pat Leonard) [/ame]
11:58AM: Derick Brassard is on the ice at Rangers practice today. (Rangers)

Good, need Brassy back between Zucc and Poo!

Dreger added, “Subban saying that he had at least three shots that were tipped or went off a shoulder or Lundqvist just got a piece at the last second and he wonders whether Lundqvist’s luck will run out or if one or two of them get through, perhaps things change and the Canadiens can get steam off of that.” (TSN)

Subban, yeah, lucky. Try the best goalie in the game and he's proving that.

Not a wise thing to say, but he's not completely wrong. It's not all luck, but he has had a few shining horseshoe moments.

Without a doubt he has. He's been ''bailed'' out multiple times. But, he is making the big saves when he needs to. He's let in 3 goals, 2 of which have been very fortunate and lucky bounces. Hank is just in the zone right now. In my 9 years of watching Hank, i've never seen his glove used this well. He was always bad with his glove, swinging it around, never gripping it tight enough to make the squeeze for the puck. Idk what happened, but there's been a drastic change in his glove, for the better.

I think the point is that the two aren't mutually exclusive. You don't put up a .957 SV% without getting a little bit "lucky", even if you're Dominik Hasek.
