I'm open to all criticism and I make sure my opinion is heard. It's a message board, of course it's going to be like that. Like I said all along, when I go 1 vs 10 in each thread since they're aren't many NYR fans on hefe, hard for me to see more support. I'm not playing the victim or trying to, all i asked for is reasoning behind the despise of us.

I get some hate AV, some hate Carcillo for his style of play. Like I said, Forty_Three gave me his hate that goes back to the Eddie in net days. I'm starting to think new and you g fans just hate us because it's their rival or the cool thing to do, because many others do.

WHAT

THE

FUCK????

How are you being opposed by 10 people in EVERY thread???

I don't see it at all in GNTs.

If I were to see it, even close, in a 10-1 ratio it would be in one of the many threads in which you claim the Rangers are victims of the NHL, which is lunacy.

For the most part no one on this board cared about the Rangers until you started bitching about how the Rags were being screwed as part of some league-wide conspiracy.

This is some insane bullshit.

Now that the dust has (not) settled, let's review:
What everyone is talking about:

*boing*

For someone who was almost stopped, he sure fell up pretty hard.

The *DUMBEST* hit of the night.

What we are not talking about for some reason (primarily the slew foot). Cheap.

Rangers fans will be okay with this given how hard they have been defending Kreider's attempts to get "in the goalie's head".

Prust is a piece of shit, but I thought this was funny.

I think both teams got away with some dives last night. I do agree with you 100% that the hit by Pouliot was dumb and uncalled for. Just a dirty play and there was absolutely no need for it. This guy constantly makes it hard for me to defend him. I like him, I like what he's done for us this year, but too many offensive zone penalties for him, including this one.

As for whatever else you posted, at work and can't see it. So not sure what the 2 bolded parts are referring to. Prust is an asshole, though, agree with that.

Patience, Johnny, you'll get into the flow of things here soon. Speaking as a member of a fanbase that has had to endure years of vitriol over their team and specifically one player being a media darling, you'll survive, and anything being thrown your way pales in comparison. :)

Homerism is fine here on the General board, it just needs to be tempered a bit with some objectivity. We have practically every fanbase represented here (FUCK DALLAS), so if everyone was too over the top with their homerism, it wouldn't be a fun place here for anyone. If you can't agree with someone's objective or even subjective opinion, then just agree to disagree and move on. Full-on homerism is better served on the team boards.

During a TV timeout, Hank skated towards the bench, and Prust was nearby, hunched over. He stands up and takes a stride like he's going to hit Hank, but diverts at the last second and just kinda grazes him with the side of his foot.

Typical Prust move. Can't stand him.

So I was wrong thinking that Rangers fans would excuse it as gamesmanship and getting in someone's head?

Didn't see that coming.

That you were. ;) But I really don't care for Prust or what he did. Clearly it didn't work, so whatever helps him cope as an overrated 4th line checker.

Though, i'd applaud Carcillo if he did the same. just kidding.

Habs have not allowed 10 goals in the first two games of a playoffs series since 1975...

Well streaks like that can be broken when an opposing team runs the goalie, and best player, in the 2nd period of the first game of a series.

But hey, congrats on breaking that streak!

I mean, I guess you're right.

My comment wasn't in reference to any of that, or trying to stir up an arguement in any way.
