I'm open to all criticism and I make sure my opinion is heard. It's a message board, of course it's going to be like that. Like I said all along, when I go 1 vs 10 in each thread since they're aren't many NYR fans on hefe, hard for me to see more support. I'm not playing the victim or trying to, all i asked for is reasoning behind the despise of us.

I get some hate AV, some hate Carcillo for his style of play. Like I said, Forty_Three gave me his hate that goes back to the Eddie in net days. I'm starting to think new and you g fans just hate us because it's their rival or the cool thing to do, because many others do.

I mean, it's not like a new thing for a Penguins fan to not like the Rangers, you know. Your team just eliminated mine, that gives me a pretty damn good reason to hate the Rangers. Frankly, I don't. I'd rather they not go on, but really I don't care anymore.

I am a homer, no doubt in my mind. But to some extent, aren't we all?

"Kreider is a dirty player" "all the Rangers do is injure goalies" "why don't more teams opposing teams hate the Rangers?" Do I need to go back and quote more from threads?

Believe me, I love the hate, gives us a new purpose. More of a reason to prove everybody wrong. All I ask for is reasons.

Did you ever consider that those quotes might just be people's honest opinions (whether they're fair/"accurate" ones or not) that have nothing to do with the specific jersey?

Of course and I understand that. There's always hate on both sides of this rivalry

I can understand the Carcillo comments, not like he's an angel on the ice, but, IMO, he has 't done anything scummy since being traded here. Kreider being labeled as "dirty" I don't agree with at all.

Also, welcome to being a fan of a team finding success in the world of social media. It's different. Back in the day (heck, merely pre-twitter) it was a lot easier to ignore other fanbases being idiots because you basically had zero interaction other than witty signs in the stands or listening to another city's radio stations, etc. It seems like no one wants your team to win, and that it's a new thing...it's not, it's just a lot more obvious. I'm a fan of a team that will NEVER win over the neutral fan, and I just don't care. Bugged me at first, because it's always more fun to be the darlings (also a Pirates fan, so last year was nice in that regard), but then you basically become a heel. Embrace it. Otherwise your feelings will get hurt a lot.

Talk about taking words too literal and out of context. :L don't accuse me of something i'm not. When the fuck did I say they see this?

I'm gonna take a shot at this answer, by all means correct me if I'm interpreting incorrectly Cobie

You said that you understand that you're not playing, so in order for the "hateful" posts on here to "give (us) a new purpose" or "a reason to prove everybody wrong" the implication is that someone on the team is reading them, no?

Yeah, i'm trying to just deal with the hate. Agree to the point that social media has really taken on in a big part of this. Oh well, i'll be here rooting for my team no matter what.

Okay, you guys are really taking that comment a bit too serious. I'll be more careful with how I word things around all the literal people on this message board. :L

Kings came back from worse

Ok they have Quick and the Habs have (google search) Budaj and Tokarski
Hard to win when you lose your goalie and your scoring touch on the same day.
Hopefully it becomes a rally point and things turn around. I honestly don't care who wins this series. I just want it to go seven so they will be as tired as my Kings in the next round. of course my Kings still need to win four more games but hey How tough can that be?

Oh but if I wanted to hate a team I have 93 reasons to Sorely stick it to one team

Thanks for reminding me.

:finger:

Great, and that's your opinion. But it doesn't mean that everyone that disagrees with it is "hating on the Rangers" (and fuck do I ever hate that expression in the first place, I think its rise in usage has done way more harm than good).

Alright. We'll both look at it how we want to. I get what you're saying and what everybody else is.
Let me put it this way, it's hard to come into a thread where pretty much 95% of the posters are rooting against us. Is that better?

Nothing I can do, to each their own. :suds: I wont mention it again.

I'd rather avoid the almost "close line from hell!" Haha

Hey now, the heel gives those out. I had to google this, but JBL was a heel according to wikipedia. That's the most reliable source on the internet, you know.

Without a doubt it is! Haha though, I gave up on wrestling many years ago.

I know very little...roomie in undergrad loved wrestling, so I picked stuff up. She even dragged me to a show. It was...um...yeah.
