I wonder how much it burns Habs and the fans that Mac has six points in two games against them

I can only speak for myself but it bothers me none. The trade was 5 years ago, too long ago for me to be bothered. Plus while the trade is a win for the Rangers the pieces the Habs got did help them get to the ECF a few seasons ago.

Rangers' are just hot. They got hot at the right time. Hank has a 1.20 GAA in his last 5 games. We've outscored Montreal 10-3 through 2 games! Nash has finally been woken up, which i knew was coming. Literally, everything is clicking for us. And again, Henrik fucking Lundqvist!

Posts from here. Isn't it obvious. I've spoke to Forty_Three privately, he gave me a few reasons why he despises us. Back to the Eddie days. He has legitimate reasons. I would love to know why all these young fans hate us.. And outside of being rivals.

I think it's obvious that most people here think that you're a terribly big homer (which is perfectly fine, it's not like it's immoral or a reason to personally dislike someone). I don't think it's anywhere close to obvious that "OMG everyone hates the Rangers!!!!!". The only reason I even think twice about the Rangers specifically is because they're the closest team to me and lots of the guys I play with are Ranger fans. Do not care one way or the other, I just call things like I see them.

Anyone who thinks the world is against them/everyone hates US is opening themselves up to criticism. Just saying. No one likes people playing the victim. It gets really old, really quick. That's my reasoning for chirping. Because the world is in fact NOT against you. There is no conspiracy, the NHL does not favor any team or any player, every team tries to buy calls, every team has players that embellish, every fanbase has whiners, every fanbase has idiots. There ya go. It's across the board.

EDIT: Also, this group has been posting together for awhile, and I welcome you to join, honestly. We don't hate you. Well, I don't. I can't speak for anyone else. I have no issue with the Rangers, never really have. There's some teams that have always held ire on this board, for jokes sake (Dallas) or because we just fight each other (Philly-Pittsburgh), and NYR has nevvver been one. I say "Rags" because it's a shortened term for Rangers. That's really it. The tinfoil hat thing is the only issue I have.

Hard to win when you lose your goalie and your scoring touch on the same day.
Hopefully it becomes a rally point and things turn around. I honestly don't care who wins this series. I just want it to go seven so they will be as tired as my Kings in the next round. of course my Kings still need to win four more games but hey How tough can that be?

Oh but if I wanted to hate a team I have 93 reasons to Sorely stick it to one team

Believe me, I love the hate, gives us a new purpose. More of a reason to prove everybody wrong. All I ask for is reasons.

Exactly - for example Carl Hagelin dove tonight and didn't get called for it, but if one of the Habs did it and it led to a Habs PP, he would be saying "The refs are against us!" "The refs want Montreal to win!" probably - I've seen it a ton - if you want to be a homer, then fine, but don't get mad when people dish it back out to you, that's just how it goes

I'm open to all criticism and I make sure my opinion is heard. It's a message board, of course it's going to be like that. Like I said all along, when I go 1 vs 10 in each thread since they're aren't many NYR fans on hefe, hard for me to see more support. I'm not playing the victim or trying to, all i asked for is reasoning behind the despise of us.

I get some hate AV, some hate Carcillo for his style of play. Like I said, Forty_Three gave me his hate that goes back to the Eddie in net days. I'm starting to think new and you g fans just hate us because it's their rival or the cool thing to do, because many others do.
