Mmm I think so, but a run could have run the clock out. Dang didn't mean for us to rehash the SB, just pointing out that damned if you do and damned if you don't..........if the play doesn't work out. That is without the doubt the way it is.

Just look at the last play, time was ticking down and it's around 27 sec when the play starts plus one time out. That's plenty of time to do a roll out or throw away as it was sec down. I will never agree with that play call, I'd have run it (lynch was getting like plus 3 yards a carry even with contract at this point) or if they had to throw it a roll out to give Wilson as many choices as possible. They had plenty of time.

You can run 27 seconds off on a run play or even a roll out that goes bad. Course folks don't agree with the call because it didn't work.

So do you think read option play was called there, like the writer thinks?

Yes it was called and Wilson should've kept it. Entire Rams DL crashed down the line and Wilson could've run for 10-15 yards easy if he would've kept it.. Rams had zero edge containment.

That said, Tom Cable is the first that needs to be fired. Should've already happened during the offseason. Not a Bevell supporter whatsoever, but would like to see if things could start falling into place if OL was remedied a bit.

Lynch mom is late to the game, should never have hired bevell the high-school play caller.

Imagine what a real nfl play caller could do with our offense.
One could only hope to make it to a SB and possibly win one.
With all of the solid teams in the league, there must be a bunch of lousy OC's by looking at the results for each team.

You don't care for Russell Wilson do you? Pretty obvious from your posts. Hey, not everybody does.....most of those folks aren't Seahawks fans though. Checking your posts out on the general board, you don't sound like a Seahawk fan there either. Not a big fan of the OL the Seahawks have drafted since Cable been here, but he does know how to coach up meh talent. Bevel? Not overly impressed, but he's got the job done good enough to take the Seahawks to 3 straight playoffs and 2 SB appearances. The Seahawks could do worse. It's amazing with the success of the last three years just how much folks complain about the coaching staff, damn...you would think the Seahawks would have a record like the Jags, Raiders etc. to listen to some here.

Dude, the "whoa is me" bullshit from so many fans of this team gets on my nerves. Every loss means that you're out of contention and never getting back in. Every week that you're not topping the power rankings means you don't have a chance. People, get out and watch some other fucking games and see that other teams have issues too. Like the Packers, who just gave up 2 bills on the ground on Sunday. Or the Colts, who got blown the hell out. Or the Broncos, who didn't score an offensive TD. Even the team that just beat the Hawks... Sure they won... But are they confident that they can take the division with the quality of play they put on the field on Sunday? Do you think that they believe that they got the best of the Seahawks? There's a reason it's called "midseason form", ladies.

Wrong thread, but whatever...

The run yesterday was not the run people wanted in the SB.

In both instances a power run made sense. Not a weak, slow developing run to the outside against a goal line defense.

But throwing the ball to like, the absolute worst receiver on your roster, instead of the 6'4 monster who the other team had zero answer for, or even your best WR who had scored a TD earlier and probably is a step quicker to that ball...also would've been better.

There was just no good thought for either of these 2 playcalls.

27 seconds. Wilson could probably do 230+ yards in that time.
Mmmm agree to disagree OK. However if a roll out bombed, you can bet folks would be bitching up a storm about it, can we agree on that?

Seattle doesn't use a lot of power sets. Because their oline isn't good. Power sets put the onus on the line to beat their man (which hadn't been been done all day), pistol puts it on the QB and the RB to recognize the lanes. When you're vastly over matched up front like the Hawks were, you lean on the backfield, not your green oline.

Goal line defense?

Translation: I didn't see the play, or don't know what I'm talking about.

You want to try and picky about goalline vs. short yardage D (which it clearly was) be my guest.

But it's a slow developing play where Lynch gets almost no momentum against a defense where it's expecting a run and thus needs to be a quick hitting run.

She's right that those were both terrible play calls and he should've fired after the SB.

The rest...sure.

It appears she deleted her facebook post, at least according to Softy.

Who doesn't have a relative that speaks their mind and embarrasses the holy shit out of you? Mama Lynch can say what she wants, and God knows she will, but that doesn't mean it's what Marshawn is thinking, nor does it mean there is rampant discontent in the locker room as a few in the media are portraying it.

Seriously, our media is so fucking lame anymore. Something like this comes up and all of a sudden some outspoken and slightly overbearing relative's comments means the sky is falling.

We have lost all perspective and all sense of history.

Rodgers had to remind people in GB to R E L A X last year after a horrific start. Last year some fans in NE were calling for Brady to retire after their 2-2 start. Even our fans have panicked after rough spells early in the season only to forget and act like we were unbeatable just a week or two later.

Maybe the Hawks don't make it to the SB again this year. Maybe they don't even make the playoffs. Possible. Also still possible they get HFA and destroy people. It's entirely way too early to know. We won't have a better idea of which way it's going to go for at least 2-3 more games when teams normally hit their stride.

Until then Mama Lynch and everyone else just needs to relax and enjoy the ride.
