Like the Coley pick. Walter has Mack going in the 2nd. Like that pick too though. Obi is great value and agree we should not be done at S. Have two SS's, two converted corners, and Everett at the moment, but S @49 seems like a luxury.

Like Obi though and I read where the Skins can get out of all their free agent signings after this year with little to no dead money. So maybe that makes sense if DJ flames out.

If we don't go DE, NT, or MLB @17 I would like to see Cook if he falls or one of the corners. Keim mentioned that the Skins are looking into bringing in Jenkins from the Dolphins and moving him from OLB to MLB.

2017 NFL Mock Draft 5.0: Post-combine outlook

17. WASHINGTON REDSKINS - REUBEN FOSTER, ILB, ALABAMA

We have a new name for the Redskins. After tackling defensive line issues with Michigan State's Malik McDowell in the previous four mocks, let's have Washington's linebacking receive a boost in the form of a relentless tackler. Foster drops this far in small part because of positional value, but mostly over his meltdown at the NFL Combine. If he can calm fears during any future meetings and workouts, Foster should remain a top-20 pick. Will Compton and Mason Foster are back, but Washington's run defense needs a thumper like Foster inside.

I posted it cause it was out there, but I hit the GFYS response button when I saw he had us taking Webb in the second, and a CB in the third.

Sadly this might be a Bruce Allen special. Because if Cousins is not signed before the draft, I do think we take a QB within the first two picks.

I saw that Webb pick and immediately thought...they are done with Kirk if that happens. OK @Shark, if that happens, how does Kirk respond to that? More important, does a move like that actually send Kirk to them demanding a trade? Dude will certainly be unhappy!

I think he can go one of two ways.

Sure he could demand a trade, but I think he knows what i suspect. Bruce is a petty arrogant little prick, and he would throw a hissy if Kirk publicly asked for a trade. At which point Bruce would likely try to trade him to the Browns for a #1 next year just to say he got his way.

So I am thinking Kirk would respond by saying nothing, playing on the tag and making it a point to try to make Bruce regret fucking with him. While I dont think it would help the team in wins and losses, Kirk would likely break the team single season passing record again and there would be a game where he comes off the field after a win and tells Bruce in no uncertain words to suck his dick while on a hot mic. LOL

KC would handle the Webb pick like a professional. He would play better to make his value to the many teams who want him as high as possible. Behind closed doors, on his way out, after the record breaking seasons here, he would likely just thank Bruce for the opportunity as a way to say...fuck you and really get Bruce's goat.
