I'm thinking #17 will be defense too.
Is RD2 2018 starter?
Is RD4 Depth or challenger for starter?

I like that draft. Not personally crazy about the LB in Rd1, but the concensus is that he is a solid/safe player at that spot.

Of the players I have seen play on several occasions...

Kamara could be a sneaky good kinda guy. He is very much like the Dalvin Cook/Jamaal Charles type.

I may be in the minority, but I like Chad Kelly alot too. He has good bloodlines, can straight up sling the ball, is fairly athletic...but is a bit of a headcase. He reminds me of Tannehill and his game. If the guy gets his shit together, he could be a good flyer pick pick in the 5-7 rounds.

just scrolled up & read this ...

thats funny coincidence.

I reached for him at 17 in my mock as they had him listed around 30 ...

but all the other players from 17-30 were not positions of need ... like WR or tackle etc... so I went with the highest ranked player at a position of need
Yeah, late first or early second looks like the value for Cunningham. He'd be a safe pick and make it clear that Cravens is strictly a safety (which is very important imo), but he had no sacks and no ints last season - and seems a bit skinny - though he likely has the frame to get stronger.

would not be happy with a RB in the 1st ... the 2nd maybe, but not the first

Not a bad choice.

Here is one that sort of goes against the grain of what most are thinking. You draft Ross (younger DJax) and have Doctson and Crowder at WR for the next 3 or 4 years at cap friendly cost and then go spend on D.

Mighty Joe's pro day

Oklahoma's Joe Mixon turns in good pro day as NFL teams weigh risk vs. reward

Mixon measured in at his workout at 6-foot 1/2 and 228 pounds, with 10 1/4-inch hands and a wingspan of 34 1/2 inches. He then went out and ran a 4.43-second 40-yard dash, according to multiple reports, which would have ranked him fourth among combine running backs. The three backs who turned in better times all weigh far less than Mixon. LSU’s Leonard Fournette, who checked in at 240 pounds, ran a 4.51; Florida State’s Dalvin Cook ran a 4.49 at 210 pounds.

In addition, Mixon put up solid to strong numbers in the vertical jump (35 inches, which would have been tied for seventh at the combine); broad jump (118 inches, which would have tied for ninth); the three-cone drill (after flubbing his first attempt: 6.96 seconds, fifth); on the bench press (21 reps, tied for sixth); and the short shuttle (4.24, fifth). Mixon’s on-field workouts are upcoming.

Amara Darboh had a good combine, came from a pro-style offense in Michigan from what i hear -- and is it built almost exactly like Garcon. He could be around in the 3rd. Not sure if Ross is such a good fit at #17 anymore, if Mike Williams and Davis were still there...maybe? Defense, seems more important IMO
