Mock Draft Chat

Since no one is around to run a draft I thought this might be kind of cool to do. What we do is create our boards version of the top 100 players in NFL history(or NBA or NBA). Can include current players. What we do is someone will start off with the #1 player. Anyone can add on after that. So for example say I put #1 Jerry Rice, anyone who wants is free to drop #2. We'll just keep going until we have 100 filled.

Think it would be a good way to keep some activity here without anyone having to keep tabs. You can just check in whenever you want and top up on the list. List is final, but we can have a separate chat thread to talk shit about lame picks/spots where players were chosen. Those who have mod powers only have to update the rolling list whenever they are free, they don't have to contact or text anyone that they're up. There's no teams or voting, just a rolling list. At the end we can also debate who is too high or too low.

Thoughts? Just trying to think of something to keep this section alive.

No just listing. That way we don't have to come to a conclusion or do any sort of waiting. If you want to put John Elway #2, he stays there. Just we're coming for you in the chats, LOL.

There has to be some rules here:

1. One person can post no more than 2 picks in a row (or just make it one)
2. You have to list why you vote this person in that particular spot, why ahead of other players, etc.

I'd be willing to try it but as I suggested before I think it should be rotated to avoid burnout.

And as we've all seen my hours are pretty crazy.

My work load is slowly getting back to normal. I could definitely help someone out. I was going to try to put something together after i get back from vacation next week and get caught up at work.

Select 4 players from each decade. Total 24 players.

2010's

Max of one player per team and you select 3 players per division.

***WILDCARD - You pick one division where you will select a player from all 4 teams...then one division will only have only 2 teams. ***

The divisions were much different in the 60's and 70's and I don't really understand the reason for the wildcard.

Yeah only 14-16 for most of the 1960's. 26+ teams from 1970 on though.
I thought the WC could kinda make up for the 1960's but we can always throw that out.

Or we could just throw out 1960's and WC
