Sushi hasn't been on since I tagged him, so I am going to assume he would be out on this. Like I said, we should save this for when he comes back.

The other one mentioned was the partner draft. That was @Nosferatu 's idea. Maybe we can pull him back for this one.

I'll investigate that tomorrow.

This was his proposal...

NFL partner draft. One drafts O one drafts D we don't find out who our part is until after the draft. I let half the league know they will draft O and the other half they will draft D.

He wanted to add punters and kickers and returners and all, but I'm not sure too many would want to mess with that. I could be wrong, though.

Because I got a couple suggestions for baseball:

1. similar to football, we do a partner draft where 1 partner pick a batting lineup and the other pick the pitching staff and bullpen.

2. A 1969 1979 1989 division draft where you have to pick 6 players from each year who played a game in that year and you have to end up with 9 players who played in the East and 9 who played in the West. No cap or team restrictions just division restrictions.

Just a couple suggestions I had, of course I’m open to any draft ideas.

I know Pack wanted to come back. Apparently, Nos was texting him and asking him if he was in for each draft, so when Shane and I took over, that step was not taken.

I like the idea for the partner draft with baseball, but the numbers game could be dicey if Pack comes back in or if anyone else decides to do it. The division draft could be fun, but I am down for whatever.

Is Nos back in too?

These drafts are just suggestions by me. I’m up for most any draft. Hope to see a new draft soon.

I like using different years, but I had a different twist on the partner thing and make it stealing players

We limit the years to 1900, 1940, 1980 and 2000, had to play a game in one of those years. Instead of a partners draft, from the QF's on(can't do it earlier for competitive balance), the winning team may add one hitter and one pitcher from the team he defeats in the QF's and drop one of each, and then do the same in the SF's.

I like uks idea but change the years to 1920, 1950, 1980 and 2010. 4 players from each year plus 2 wild card picks that could be from any of those 4 years.

Or 2 WC's from any other year. Good by me

Also if I could add some juice to uks idea. Have 2 players from the 4 yrs, to be 30 or older that year and 2 younger than 30 that year. For the wild card years pick 1 player 30:or older and the other younger than 30. Just some suggestions to add to a good idea.

Not sure I like adding that wrinkle, but if the group wants it, I would be willing to.
