The age thing was just a suggestion on my part. I think uk, as per usual, has presented a good draft idea. I say we do that draft using the yrs, I mentioned.

I like uks idea but change the years to 1920, 1950, 1980 and 2010. 4 players from each year plus 2 wild card picks that could be from any of those 4 years.
Down for this @tducey - good w either wild card scenario

Seems like there is interest in doing the 1920, 1950, 1980, 2010 plus 2 wild card years draft. Let’s hope we get the ball rolling with it today.

Hey... just to let you guys know, I'm probably not going to be able to run another draft right away. My work has gotten pretty crazy and I don't have near the down time there that I had before the pandemic. Plus, I am putting in more hours than I was before and with the way they are constantly changing things around (I work in the restaurant business), I really can't commit to too much. I should still be in to draft a team, but I can't keep up with what's going and updating lists and teams and such.

Since no one is around to run a draft I thought this might be kind of cool to do. What we do is create our boards version of the top 100 players in NFL history(or NBA or NBA). Can include current players. What we do is someone will start off with the #1 player. Anyone can add on after that. So for example say I put #1 Jerry Rice, anyone who wants is free to drop #2. We'll just keep going until we have 100 filled.

Think it would be a good way to keep some activity here without anyone having to keep tabs. You can just check in whenever you want and top up on the list. List is final, but we can have a separate chat thread to talk shit about lame picks/spots where players were chosen. Those who have mod powers only have to update the rolling list whenever they are free, they don't have to contact or text anyone that they're up. There's no teams or voting, just a rolling list. At the end we can also debate who is too high or too low.

Thoughts? Just trying to think of something to keep this section alive.
