Wellers and espressos...How are you still alive?
It was a good callShould we try to get the band back together?
Damn, I'm 8 months late.Should we try to get the band back together?
I like every idea.Just posting this to get us moving, I am sure I wanna do a phase NBA draft, not sure yet MLB or NFL. I do like the decades for MLB and I do want either MLB or NFL to be a cap draft.
MLB
MLB Decades & Teams Draft.
We will draft 18 players, three from each decade.
50's, 60's, 70's, 80's, 90's, 00's
You cannot use the same team twice. Team the player has played the most with decides his team.
NFL
NFL Decades & Salary Cap Draft
We will draft 24 players, six from each decade.
70's, 80's, 90's, 00's
How about a $200 cap?
League MVP $30
OPOY $20
DPOY $20
All Pro $2 per
Pro Bowl $1 per
NBA
NBA Phase Draft
Either 10 or 12 players
1. Never won an NBA Championship.
2. Averaged at least 29.0 points in at least one season.
3. Played a game in 1969
4. Drafted in the 90's.
5. Played in 3 All Star games or less. (Player must have played a game prior to 2010)
6. Won Multiple NBA Championships.
7. 200 steals in at least one season.
8. 1,200 rebounds in at least one season.
9. Non US born player.
10. Averaged less than 10 points per game.
1. Played College Ball in Pennsylvania, New Jersey or New York.
2. Played for Three Teams
3. 800+ Assists in a Season
4. 350+ Offensive Rebounds in a Season
5. Played in the ABA
6. Played for the Hawks, Blazers or Suns
7. Has Passed Away
8. Never played in the Finals
9. Played in Three Decades
10. Jersey # Has a 5 In It.
Everyone plays 24 minutes.
I like every idea.
I am just think about the cap for the NFL.
So if they won even one MVP they have $30 added to their salary? Brady is $51. If we do that we either change some things or move up the cap...seems kinda steep.
So $30 is the max for a player. Fine with thatI was thinking $30 would be their number not added to the salary. You don't pay more if they have multiple MVP's or O/DPOY either.
