Damn, Torres and Burnes surprised me big time. Didn’t see either of those two happening.
Torres, not sure why he signed where and for what he did. Burnes makes sense after reading it. He and his family live in AZ and turned down more money to go there. But ya surprising AZ had the dough to pay him when they have a worse TV situation than the poor Mariners.

If I am Mariners, I am calling up Toronto and SF regarding a Castillo deal.

Yeah was mostly talking about Arizona signing him. Cause I heard they had money issues and that’s why they couldn’t just cut Montgomery last year

Yes it was reported they were way worse off than the M's with the RSN thing yet they found a way. And there is no way AZ is a bigger baseball market than Seattle.

And we don’t have an income tax at the moment. I’m sure you did damn I can’t imagine raising an infant down in Arizona. My sons first two years down at spring training he was miserable and it only peaked I think at 80

Good point and one I should have known living there for 8 years. Old memory.

According to a story from Evan Petzold of the Detroit Free Press, Los Angeles and the Toronto Blue Jays are considered the "front runners" for outfielder/designated hitter Anthony Santander. The same story said that the Detroit Tigers consider Santander a backup option if their plans to sign third baseman Alex Bregman fall through.
