I was thinking Louisville. Don't they usually fare well in minor league attendance?
My White Sox fan complaints aside, we are still well within the bragging period for Cubs fans. I don't like it one fucking bit, but hell, those shitfaces won.
I'm pretty sure they do, and Louisville is a significant city in baseball history. I said Omaha because that's where the college World Series is played every year, plus Lincoln is only about an hour's drive from Omaha as well.
True. I was trying to be kind to @SlinkyRedfoot. He's like a retarded second cousin of mine. It's more accurate to say CLE lost.

I never really say "never." It's possible, but likely after Wyoming and Fairfield County, CT get their teams. . .
Comments about Omaha and Louisville maybe don't include the reality that the Royals and Reds, respectively, consider those cities inside their footprint, both in tradition and marketing as well as Triple-A franchises. Omaha just built that ballpark a few years ago for the CWS. It serves no other baseball purpose. The Storm Chasers have their own stadium.
I don't see expansion going into the Latin countries, especially Havana, because the economies of those areas can't contend with the MLB business model. The fan base would be, however, tremendous.
Wyoming?
Ah, those were the days .....

The MLB constitution doesn't cover them as being in their territories.
It's had an impact on the Oakland plans. So I don't know about constitutions as much as I think the franchises would weigh in on it.
The territories are given to teams via the MLB constitution.
well, yeah...that's the business model of a professional league. I think Omaha is considered part of KC's territory. Not sure on the Reds but Louisville is about 90 miles away and they have the Bats there.

I've heard that baseball wants to expand "down the road", anyone heard when "down the road" might actually be? And what cities look like strong candidates? I know Montreal is obviously a strong candidate. I'd personally like to see some more teams out west to help with travel time for the western teams. I've heard too that part of the hold up in expansion is trying to find long-term solutions for the Rays & A's. Thoughts?
whats the update on the As?So, it sounds like A's are close to finding a long-term solution. Any word on how close Tampa Bay is to finding a long-term answer to their stadium woes?
you know wyoming had a foot of snow last week right??Wyoming Si...Fairfield, BWAHAHAH
