I actually liked Oddibe, he could steal a base... But my favorite thing about him was his name actually was Oddibe, how freakin' cool is that?

Oddibe leading off hitting 1 homer a year, Inky hitting 4th and striking out 300 times a year, and Bobby Witt striking out 6 and walking 9 in 3+ innings of work.....the good old days

I understand there are other excellent 1st basemen and he is costly being bucket 1 but IMO hes easily in the top 5 players who ever played the game, i'll pay the heavy price...

I think top 5, in a vacuum is bout right.

A friend of mine has been Oddibe since second grade or so.

He's really an Eric, which isn't nearly as fun.
