Before I face 500 in the play in game I say we should not do add/drops this time. If you didn't get the player in the draft then you shouldn't be allowed to get him after we are done. Plus I want 500 to lose $17,000,000 in cap space also it is rumored while he was on vacation which he didn't take any of us (remember that) that he kicked a puppy and stole your grandmas purse. I read all that info on a Snapple so it must be true.

The only way I would hold a 0 against someone is if those players were a bunch of scrubs that couldn't contribute, like a pinch hitter with a career .260 average or Carlos Sandoval as a pinch runner .Otherwise, I'd call adding a low dollar player as.. shrewd. Put another way...Tom Brady was a 6th round pick..should it be held against the Patriots GM that they don't have a blue chip, 1st rounder as a starter?

Chipper was drafted as a SS and played 49 games there... Playing him at SS offensively and covering his defensive deficiencies IMO would be shrewd... He's never taking the field...

You've been doing these for a long time, we used to go by like 400 games at a position to be considered legit, and that's been kind of dialed back to at least a full season or two. Chipper at SS falls under Nos's Gaetti as a relief pitcher category lol

I do know, but this is a different situation and something we've never come close to attempting... I've already adjusted, however the Gaetti thing isn't really the same... Playing Chipper at SS gives me a huge advantage because I could have played Ott at 3B and started Dawson in RF... As it stands Dawson will be my defensive RFer and I lose his bat and base running... Starting Gaetti at Pitcher gives you no advantage and would be a waste...
