Have a question about positions... Chipper Jones played a whole 49 games at SS, so he did play the position... In addition to that, the rule doesn't say a person had to play a specific position especially since I'd only be using Chipper as my hitting SS and I'd play somebody else at my defensive SS spot... Is this acceptable (playing Chipper at SS)...?

I don't know that there is a certain rule in place, but I would think someone would have to play at the position for at least a season to be able to play there. I would dock points for you starting him at SS, but that's just me.

Even though some guys are playing defense they still have to play the position and not just for a couple games IMO. If tha were the case I could start a better guy at a position that he barely played and I wouldnt get penalized.
