This is a messed up situation, if he steps down it sets a bad precedent which you know other college campuses will try too and if the university takes the rightful action against these players it will be bad PR.

Oh shit! If accurate.
Will be interesting how long they will hold out. I'm sure they can get enough walk ons to fill a roster if needed, but it would end badly.

I don't think the boycott will last until the BYU game though.

I do also wonder if the NCAA might get involved if Mizzou doesn't discipline the players.

He should resign and the new President should expel all the students involved, shit smearers and "peaceful" protestors alike.

I already laid out the perfect punishment, but you facepalmed it.

A protest like this might would work if Missouri wasn't already so bad this season.

Yeah, if I didn't know any better, I'd think they started the boycott before the season started.

Yeah... I have a hard time believing players would have been good with this idea if their team had a shot at a bowl game invitation.

This is going to hurt their recruiting and overall enrollment. A lot of kids are going to want to separate themselves from these type situations.

I wonder if they will forego the training table meals if they aren't "participating in any football activities."

I disagree
The kids that are going no matter what are going but those that are trying to choose between schools it will be a huge factor. I've got a junior in high school and we are looking at schools for her and trust me as parents you look at EVERYTHING.

My daughter is a senior in HS this year....and yes we look at everything. My wife and I are both teachers.

That wouldn't stop me from letting my daughter from going to Missouri. My wife is Black and Korean.

Does Mizzou's 'systemic racism' bother you?
