I don't know the story at all, and I don't know what the President has done, but in the grand scheme of things isn't the Universities "academics" the most important thing about the school? so, if this President has done a good job in that aspect, and his new change of policy betters the current situation, what does the school do? Keep the guy for doing his primary job? Or defend athletics and basically say athletics is more important than education.

Again, I know nothing about the situation, I don't know the President or what he has done.

well even if they do, I'm sure when everything gets cleared they will assume paying him and probably pay him back for the times they didn't pay him.

He will come back and say, yes I didn't coach practice or football on the football field, but I was teaching these kids life lessons and probably come up with some BS team gathering which is still considered "coaching"
