Kinda funny. Both pitchers are Giants farm hands and part of the Golden Era of young Giants pitching.

Now both are 2 of the worst pitchers of the first half this year.

BTW, I watch Sanchez pitch a few games this year, that analysis is right on target. Looks like he wants the fuck out of KC and just wants to be sippin on some margaritas on the ocean side.

Wow. You can tell that from watching TV?? Your Sherlockian talents are wasted on a message board.

Cool your jets, man.

Dude reportedly gave up on the game/team in '11, which led to SabeySabes shopping/non-tendering him in the off-season. Is it REALLY such a leap to extrapolate the same to him and the Royals this year?

He is prone to getting that "I would rather be anywhere but here" look on his face when he is on the bump.

Seems reasonable to me

He's going to have made close to 15 mil after this season and his WS money. He's earned enough ML and minors service time to get a decent pension when he can draw upon it, and I'm sure he has vested into the leagues awesome 401k. Even if he hasn't, homeboy has more than enough money to get some beach front property in South America and live like a King till he cant walk anymore.

I gotta say I'm with you on this one. I think people in general like to jump to conclusions much larger than the data from which they draw them.

People see someone's face and can draw any conclusion they wish. I think they've seen too many episodes of "Lie To Me". One was enough for me.

But that's your opinion, not his. I think I read Tzills response as a bit dickish, and i think Cal did too judging from his response.

We all get along pretty well here, and I see no reason to jump down someones throat because of differing view points. A response like yours was more than sufficient to narrate your disagreement.

I agree with your characterizations. While tzill was a bit irascible there, that is tzill. Sometimes his lines get blurred between himself and AB.

But also it's also a fine line between congenial, but often dull, disagreement, and some friendly flamethrowing. As long as we don't take it too far, and know when to dial it down.

And I am grateful for the board, and for the moderators (who include tzill, no?) who weed out the NN's and the FreakyFranchise types.

GO GIANTS!

PS - Please, Timmy, figure this out over the break. Thanks!

I'm just saying, it's been well documented he gave up on the team, expressed his desire to leave, and has shown his mental lapses on the field. And I see those, even to a greater degree in KC.

But, whatever the circumstance of the response from tzill, EZ ALL GOOD (lol)

Giants with the 3rd easiest schedule among contenders.

Games left against teams over .500: 27.

Schedule notes: Depending on how Arizona plays in the second half, the Giants could have an incredibly easy September. After having series with the Astros and Cubs at the end of August, the Giants have 13 games in September against the Padres and Rockies. San Francisco has three separate series with the Diamondbacks, who are currently under .500.

The Big Finish: The Giants' final six games are on the road -- at San Diego and at Los Angeles.

I'm only 87% true giants fan.

Missed two easy ones - longest hit streak and McCovey's 4 for 4..:L

100%. All this proves is that I have way too much trivia stored in my brain. This is why I am a middle-class worker and not some millionaire tech firm owner.

Decent questions though.
