People need to stop with the blocked FG by Wagner. It was a bad missed call, period. His hands were on his own players which constitutes leverage and his foot hit an O-lineman. Enough said.
Truth is it makes absolutely no difference in the game, period. Maybe Minny gets 3 points. Big fucking whoop. Their offense was hot garbage the whole game and it was only a matter of time before Cousins coughed the ball up. Cousins is just that bad when the lights are bright and Seattle's D played good.

To say the penalty would make no difference is insane. The Vikes would have had he ball 1st and 10 at the 15 yard line. can you guarantee they would not have scored a TD to take the lead. If the Vikes had the lead the whole rest of the game would not have been the same as how it actually ended as plays would have been called differently.

Just saying that the illegal blocked punt changed the game.

We have no clear way to know what would have happened if it had been called properly.

Both teams played poorly for the most part and that was a turning point.

They always play close competative games, and when you do that you put yourself in a position to benefit from the flukes.

Teams getting blown out also get flukey plays and teams winning by 24 also get bad calls their way. It just doesn't register because of the situation. You make it seem like only Seattle gets calls though and that's simply untrue.

Yes maybe, because things are called incorrectly all the time. Theres no reason to make a national story out of one call but its the Seahawks so i get it.
