They can't afford to bench Cousins at $28 million fully guaranteed to another 2 seasons. Unfortunately, they backed themselves into a corner big time with that terrible contract. If anything, this blunder should result in their GM Rick Spielman and the entire Zimmer coaching staff getting canned.

They have no choice but to roll with Cousins for another 2 years, so they might as well fire the guys in charge who were responsible for these failures and give it another chance under new leadership. Spielman has been in charge since like 2011 or something and Zim since 2014, so if this is all they have to show in 5 years running the show together (longer for Spielman), I for one am beyond ready for them to move on and find new management/coaching.

That QB play last night reminded me way too much of that AFC WC game last year with Tyrod Taylor & Blake Bortles.
