Seems to make sense.....but with options would think he can find a better opportunity. Unless he loves Drake Maye?
Pretty sure AP is gone. Maybe the DC Patrick Graham as well.....Any rumblings about who is all getting pink slips in Vegas?

can you imagine if NFL went full DEI? female coaches, trans, and gays. might have to bring them up from Pop Warner.Still have to go through all the interview processes, minority candidates, etc.
It was in mayo's contract that he was to succeed BB when he left.still no clue as to why Vrabel didn't get the NE job last year.
Maybe he's playing Kraft this time.
then Mike should look for a team Kraft doesn't own.It was in mayo's contract that he was to succeed BB when he left.
Thread title. Vrabel was not yet named HC
absolutely not. The point stands. You started a stupid thread stating he was the new head coach Not that you predict he will be. He wasn’t yet named. everyone expected it to be a strong possibility, but That’s not the point. It’s like the morons here that post things like “Lamar tears ACL” and then it’s Lamar Smith or something. It’s just dumbSo are you going to take the facepalm emoji away when it becomes official?
Boom!Patriots hired Mike Vrabel as head coach.
NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero was first to report the hiring, although it’s worth noting FOX Sports’ Jordan Schultz reported on Saturday night that “barring something unforeseen,” the Patriots were expected to hire Vrabel. It’s now nearly official, as the former Titans head coach will soon put pen to paper to become the second head coach of the Patriots in the post Bill Belichick era. The Patriots blew through their interview process, and wasted little time to reach the decision to hire the coach who spent eight years as a player with the team from 2001-2008. Vrabel boasts a 54-45 record as a head coach during his six years with the Titans, and is now set to takeover for a team that appears to already have its franchise quarterback intact with Drake Maye. Couple this with nearly $130 million in cap space to play with, and there’s a suddenly a strong case to be made for the Patriots as a bounce back team next season.
