At what point does RGIII get heat? He is horrible going through professions. You can blame the coach all you want, but Robert is not a good QB. The pistol/read option has been effectively shut down and he's not adapting.

He has had no help. The only players on that offense that should be starters are Garcon and Morris. The rest of that team would ride the bench on most teams in the NFL.

Stymie, I'm not sure what point you are trying to prove? That he has lost this team? Just look at how they played on Monday night if that is what you want. Trent had is worst game of the year. Polumbus - worst. Wilson - worst. RG3 - worst. This when I'm sure Shanahan spent all week pounding it into their heads that this was a must win game at home on National TV. He couldn't get them pumped up even in that scenario.

Not sure he's lost the locker room, but any things possible at this point. Seem like a catch phrase that's tossed out there for any team with a terrible record.

The question I have is did they just get shown up by a known better team or was it 'quit'? We know that they are not a good team this year. Next week against the Giants, who are beatable and not a superior team, will give a better sense of that.

i agree with bashir on this . i dont want to see us raise the white flag and simply playing subs to "see what you have " isnt the answer solely either

you have guys like Rak , hall , wilson and 17 other FA's that you need to eval .

If nothing else, it should prove entertaining to watch the last 4 games to see if our STs can show us an additional 4 ways they can possibly fail. Smh.

It is often mentioned how good our offensive yard numbers are. I wonder how much it is skewed by having to move further every single drive to score. We've had so many drives begin at our 10 yard line or less.

Not only that - if they were like the majority of NFL teams there would be the occasional long return resulting in starting in the other team's territory or - a foreign concept to us - even a TD scored on a punt or kickoff return. As we have seen many times - this could be the difference between a win and a loss.

I long for the days of stellar Redskins returners like Brian Mitchell. Honestly - this season I never expect any return to go for more than a handful of yards. They need to aggressively find a top notch special teams coach.

It's actually an indictment on how we really lack playmakers in our skill positions. Other than Garcon, RG3, and Morris, we really don't have anyone that is a big threat. Moss used to be, but not anymore. We need a WR that DOES scare people. We have another dangerous WR, and they can't put 8 in the box to stop Morris. It's amazing how one additional player could make a world of difference. I would seriously consider using our 2nd round pick on the best WR on the board.

I can't see Shanahan coming back. Snyder is not the most patient owner around. Granted, RG3 is not the QB he was last year with the bum knee, but there's really no excuse for their level of play. I thought they would have been much better this year.

Just watched it. This does not look good. Snyder has apparently meddled again. If true, his meddling may be causing a rift between RG3 and his coaches and teammates. It will also make it very difficult to get any coach worth his salt here.

we will have to wait and see how this plays out . its another "unnamed source" deal so who knows at this point . sure there will be more to come
