Tampa was 5th in points allowed and in 2 games, Stafford threw for 6 TDs 0 interceptions and 709 yards, on the road in the playoffs was one of the games.

People make me laugh, you would think Herbert could of done better of those bad Lions teams, and he doesn't even have a winning record playing with an All Pro S, WR, 6 pro bowlers and still can't make the playoffs. Got to love a guy losing 3 of 4 games down the stretch, I heard those Houston Texans could be tough,

Well, the Chargers offense scored more points in 2021 than the Rams offense did so maybe missing the playoffs wasn't on him. He also has the same number of ProBowl appearances after 2 years that Stafford has after 13 years. Heck, i'd trade Stafford and picks for him. The only thing i've got against him is that he's responsible for 1 of the most heinous attrocities in NFL history.

He has single-handedly saved Mr. Spanos from being forced out of the Chargers ownership. Before Herbert that team couldn't put 5000 Chargers fans in their 20K capacity 'home' stadium.

"Sando's list was compiled based on feedback from 50 NFL coaches and executives, including six general managers, eight head coaches, 10 evaluators, 12 coordinators, six quarterback coaches and seven execs. The last ballot was a joint effort of four members of a team's personnel department.

More than one quarterback was featured for teams with undetermined starting jobs, and the survey excluded rookies because voters have not seen them play in the NFL."

A Tier 1 quarterback can carry his team each week. The team wins because of him. He expertly handles pure passing situations. He has no real holes in his game.

All rankings are subjective, but IMO that's one of the best ones I've seen. I only looked at the tier, not the numerical rank.

The issue I have is that every QB looked good against the Chiefs last year. So its 'yeah, he was good, too'.

According to PFF Herbert ranked #1 amongst QBs in fewest turnover worthy plays during 2021. Stafford ranked #29. I have Herbert in tier 1 and Stafford in tier 2.

I have no major complaints with the ranking. Stafford and Wilson can play their way easily into tier one and I expect Mac Jones to be considered a legitimate tier two QB by the end of the season. I think Mac wasn't given nearly enough credit for how well he played as a rookie without a number one caliber target at WR or TE.

Gardner Minshew should be a starter somewhere in the league and can probably play at at tier 3 level.
