Carr is just barely outside tier 1.
Barely.
Barely.
He was incredible vs the 26th best team in points allowed. Watch out 27th and 28th teams.Watch the week 18 game against LV and tell me that's on Herbert. Only thing you can't say about him is he's tier 1.
Stafford truly is NFC Derek Carr. Same arguments Carr stans make.He was incredible at home vs. the 26th best team in points allowed. Watch out 27th and 28th teams.
Sure...Dak tooCarr is just barely outside tier 1.
Barely.
Carr is better than Dak.Sure...Dak too
Sure...Dak is one spot behindCarr is better than Dak.
Well, the Chargers offense scored more points in 2021 than the Rams offense did so maybe missing the playoffs wasn't on him. He also has the same number of ProBowl appearances after 2 years that Stafford has after 13 years. Heck, i'd trade Stafford and picks for him. The only thing i've got against him is that he's responsible for 1 of the most heinous attrocities in NFL history.People make me laugh, you would think Herbert could of done better of those bad Lions teams, and he doesn't even have a winning record playing with an All Pro S, WR, 6 pro bowlers and still can't make the playoffs. Got to love a guy losing 3 of 4 games down the stretch, I heard those Houston Texans could be tough,
All rankings are subjective, but IMO that's one of the best ones I've seen. I only looked at the tier, not the numerical rank. What are your thoughts on Mike Sando's list? Do you think your teams QB is placed just right, to low or to high?
For those who haven't seen it yet or need a reminder here is an excerpt and the list below:
"Sando's list was compiled based on feedback from 50 NFL coaches and executives, including six general managers, eight head coaches, 10 evaluators, 12 coordinators, six quarterback coaches and seven execs. The last ballot was a joint effort of four members of a team's personnel department.
More than one quarterback was featured for teams with undetermined starting jobs, and the survey excluded rookies because voters have not seen them play in the NFL."
A Tier 1 quarterback can carry his team each week. The team wins because of him. He expertly handles pure passing situations. He has no real holes in his game.
1. Aaron Rdogers
2. Patrick Mahomes
3. Tom Brady
4. Josh Allen
5. Justin Herbert
6. Joe Burrow
Tier 2:
A Tier 2 quarterback can carry his team sometimes but not as consistently. He can handle pure passing situations in doses and/or possesses other dimensions that are special enough to elevate him above Tier 3. He has a hole or two in his game.
7. Matthew Stafford
8. Russell Wilson
9. Deshaun Watson
10. Lamar Jackson
11. Dak Prescott
12. Derek Carr
13. Kyler Murray
14. Matt Ryan
Tier 3:
A Tier 3 quarterback is a legitimate starter but needs a heavier running game and/or defensive component to win. A lower-volume dropback passing offense suits him best.
15. Kirk Cousins
16. Jimmy Garoppolo
17. Ryan Tannehill
18. Mac Jones
19. Baker Mayfield
T-20. Jalen Hurts
T-20. Carson Wentz
22. Jared Goff
23. Trevor Lawrence
24. Jameis Winston
Tier 4:
A Tier 4 quarterback could be an unproven player (not enough information for voters to classify) or a veteran who ideally would not start all 17 games.
25. Justin Fields
26. Tua Tagovailoa
27. Davis Mills
28. Zach Wilson
29. Trey Lance
30. Daniel Jones
31. Marcus Mariota
32. Sam Darnold
33. Mitch Trubisky
34. Drew Lock
Tier 5:
A Tier 5 quarterback is best suited as a backup.
35. Geno Smith

Too bad he never had a receiver like Calvin Johnson to help him..Stafford didn't have that help like boy wonder does, he did get that help, and he wins the Super Bowl. Funny how that works.
Seems only division foes are fighting Herbert. To anyone doubting Herbert, watch him play a few games. He's a flat out stud.
The issue I have is that every QB looked good against the Chiefs last year. So its 'yeah, he was good, too'.To anyone doubting Herbert, watch him play a few games. He's a flat out stud.
Well, he is his own agent. My opinion he’s way overrated and ravens would be dumb as he is If they pay him top salaryIf Jackson's agent is any good, Lamar gets more everything money wise than Murray.
That's the NFL QB game
Herbert or Allan wins MVP this yearAccording to PFF Herbert ranked #1 amongst QBs in fewest turnover worthy plays during 2021. Stafford ranked #29. I have Herbert in tier 1 and Stafford in tier 2.
You have Hurts too high, he is not better than Mayfield, Ryan, Jones, Goff, or Jimmy G. Hurts is around 22.1. Tom Brady
