Nick Foles and Carson Wentz exist. Clutch ≠ Tier 2 or 1. Tiers 2 and 1 are quite restrictive. Or were. I used to remember these lists having Drew Brees as tier 2 in his prime.

I guess being the best all year in the 4th quarter isn't clutch huh.

Tartt catches an INT in the NFCCG and this isn't much of a discussion. Clutch also isn't a repeatable skill. If Stafford does it again, we can talk about tier 2 going forward.

According to PFF Herbert ranked #1 amongst QBs in fewest turnover worthy plays during 2021. Stafford ranked #29. I have Herbert in tier 1 and Stafford in tier 2.

People make me laugh, you would think Herbert could of done better of those bad Lions teams, and he doesn't even have a winning record playing with an All Pro S, WR, 6 pro bowlers and still can't make the playoffs. 2nd off, if he caught the ball there would be 10+ minutes left in the game.
3rd off, the 49ers would of had to drive another 50 yards to get in get in field goal range. It's a good time to remind you that the 49ers scored zero points in the 4th quarter.
4th off Ramsey had a drop later in the game which would of put the Rams in a prime position to score.
