Riley is revered by his peers, meaning other actual coaches not some random peter puffer, let's see what an actual HC can do before we throw in the towel right off the bat just because we didn't hire Bill Belichick

Belichick wouldn't have been a good hire either mainly because the college and pros are two different levels of football.

Another reason why I'm not impressed by pro coach hires is because of what Walsh did at Stanford. Walsh was an awesome NFL coach with the 49ers, but didn't succeed at Stanford.

I'm not jumping off a cliff, but I have every right to be pissed at Eichorst for hiring a yes man. Even though I have hardly any reason to be optimistic about this hire, I also realize it's completely out of my hands, and I'll try my best to not complain until I see some really bad seasons or worse yet, losing seasons.
