Indeed. As a lifelong Mets fan, I have had to deal with incredibly stupid moves on behalf of the front office. It would kill me if the 49ers follow the same path to self-destruction.

Would be interesting if Holmgren went to the 49ers.

It would be fascinating to see how he would create an offense with a QB like Kaepernick. During his time with the Seahawks, his offenses were always vanilla to the point of frustration, and even when he had a mobile QB in there for the Seahawks (Seneca Wallace), he never ran any plays that utilized Wallace's legs. Kaepernick's greatest asset is his legs, if anything I'd like to see Holmgren go to the 49ers just to see what he would do with the team.
