Not really. Michigan looked worse than the teams who jumped them (and worse than some of the teams still below them).

It's still week 3, I'm not all that concerned with the rankings. And Hoke himself said that Michigan is not yet a top 10 team (which I am inclined to agree). So I'm fine with a ranking of somewhere between 11 and 15. Just keep winning the games and win the Big Ten. That's all I care about.

i'm truly embarrassed to be a michigan fan when i have to read threads like this. UM should be doing cartwheels they ONLY dropped 4 spots.

personally -- i don't think they should even be in the top 25 after that game. maybe you don't realize how unbelievably bad Akron is -- 3-33 the last 3 years, 27 or 28 consecutive road losses, Central Florida beat them like 38-7 this year.

that was about as pathetic of a game i've ever witnessed UM play.

The polls in the first 5-6 weeks of the season mean nothing, and are only used to hype TV games. How come nobody is being held accountable or losing their job after ranking MI 17th before almost losing to fucking Akron? Because they don't mean shit.
