Have to agree with John on this one. Yes, the team played a bad game, however they won. All teams are entitled to a bad game...even Alabama who wasn't that hot 2 weeks ago; yet they are still number 1....and, IMO, deserve to be there.

Polls are based on not only what a team does but a significant amount of perception gleaned by what those teams do, how they do it, and who they do it to.

Polls suck basically. Everyone loves them when they favor their team and hates them when they don't.

It's early still and there is time for Michigan to regain the pollsters trust. If thats something you really put any value in.

Seriously, I don't get why people are whining about some pretty meaningless polls at this stage of the game. Just keep winning and things will shake out. It's way too early to get uptight about whether your team ought to be 2-3 spots higher in the polls.

Who cares? Polls only matter for teams #1 and #2. Win the conference, and you'll go to the Rose Bowl.
