Yea jvett. WW has been singing the praises of this guy and now I know why. Along with Asche, Rupp, Diekman, and a couple of others like Revere and Byrd these young guys are going to be really good players for along period of time barring any injuries of course.

Huh???? 2 out of 5 that you mention are "good young guys" (asche & diekman)
Rupp is a .160 AAA hitter
Byrd is 36 years old..I guess young compared to Jose Mesa
Revere is just garbage

what exactly would you "like to see happen this year"? you are always against trading any of the veteran players for prospects....especially hamels or utley.

Everything you believe won't happen - the fairy tale season where the old crew puts up good numbers and are joined by the young studs to work their way into the wild card. Why trade Hamels/Utley if there's any chance of salvaging this season. When it's time to trade the veterans after hope is gone, then they'll do it. You just give up before that time.

All of Brown's deep ball hitting has gone away and now he is just shit in fielding too. I am not sure what water some of these guys are drinking but it is almost as if they are taking tokes on something that guarantees screwed-up play.
