I knew he would get fined, in which he did. Says all you need to know about him as a coach. This goes to show also how shoddy the Nets management is. You don't give a rookie coach this roster and expect him to win a title right off the bat. They should've interviewed George Karl.

Kidd was a bad hire for a veteran team but that move was pure genius. Who cares that he got fined? Point is it worked as he was able to draw up a play which was a great one as Pierce had a clean look but just missed it. If Pierce hits that 3 and the Nets win in OT, you think Kidd or anyone in the Nets organization would care that Kidd got fined 50K if they won.

spent all that money on that roster. pull off those trades. did everything right.. then hire a guy with no coaching experience? wtf. the nets were a joke a few years back. they have been on the right track since the drafted brook lopez. and then this?

smh. it doesn't even have to be George karl.. although that would be smart. any coach with good experience would have worked. is jerry sloan dead?

Nets were the most over hyped and overrated team to begin with. I'm not surprised that they've totally collapsed in the standings.

Can't expect to put together so many aging pieces and actually be successful. Btw what is up with Deron Williams. Has that guy fallen off the face of the earth or what. 3-4 years ago we were talking about him and CP3 being 1A and 1B and now he's not even a top 10 pg in the nba

I understand how awesome UD has been for the Heat but didn't they always start slow with UD on the court? And not to beat a dead horse but MFKN BEASLEY!!! He plays that D and you have the PF slot filled as long as he will stay in Miami.
