Been change in sentiment from last summer to this summer from what I've seen/heard/read.

I get he's seeing these crazy numbers, but none of the crazy numbers are going long term to 35 year olds.

Last year he wanted 3/45 then settles for 1 /20.
2/40 puts him 15M above what he wanted a year ago.

Maybe meet in the middle somewhere if it means shedding McBob (who we actually need) vs getting into a hissy fit over 6M, but seriously, if Bosh is out I won't be one bit upset of Riley stands firm and lets Wade decide his own fate.

I can't believe my eyes. You are actually using the words selfish alongside Wade? Did you get hacked?

But of course its selfish. But not surprising coming from Wade especially during negotiations time.

All this talk from some people in here and elsewhere on social media about wade and how he should feel " disrespected with the Heat offers is beyond stupid. These fuckers are playing a game - not saving lives -- they are already highly overpaid to begin with.

My hope is this gets resolved(which I have faith it will/Wade signs with Heat) without the Heat bowing down to his demands and convinces him to take their offers which is already a bit much to begin with

I agree with you and I think most of the fan base is starting to side with Heat management.

Wade had to know going into free agency Durant and Whiteside were the priorities. He was always going to get his money. It just wouldn't get done day 1. Just wait. I thought Wade knew this and is part of the reason he left the country just to avoid the whole thing. 2 years 40 million is great money. He wants more. Miami has the money if they move McBob. Which Wade may want. You never know about what the dynamics within that team are and if Wade just doesn't like the guy personally and this is his way of getting him outta here. The real question comes down to who blinks first. I still don't think there is a realistic chance of Wade going anywhere. Possibly Cleveland, but they would have to trade a bunch of guys and/or cut into LeBron's cash. Wade isn't going to turn down 40 million here for an exemption there.

Im sure Denver doesn't want to be Wades negotiating pawn ( which in reality is all they are).
They seriously want him.
They need to tell him that he has 24 or 36 or whatever number of hours they feel is enough to commit or not.
Contracts can be signed tomorrow. That would be my deadline.

If you are a Bulls fan, you are saying WTF. Traded Rose at 31 for a 35 year old this season who just played over 70 games for first time in 4 years. Sucks but right move for the franchise long term. Good luck to Wade...awesome 13 years or actually 12! My favorite player. Egos, egos, egos.
