Game Thread: Miami Heat month of January Game Thread

January is a month filled with a lot of road games which is actually a good thing for our Heat based on our road record.

January is also a month that could see the Heat as healthy as they been all year long. Not only should Johnson and Winslow return ASAP but we are expected to get Waiters and McGruder back sometime this month as well

Now on to the schedule.

We start off the month with home games vs Detroit, New York, and Utah. If we have at least JJ and Winslow back then there is no reason to lose any of those games but I'll take 2-1.

After that we play 7 of 8 on the road but considering how well we have played on the road, I'm perfectly fine if we go 4-4 or 5-3 in that stretch.

Wrap up the month with 2 home games in a row (Kings & Hornets) followed by 2 road games (Mavericks & Cavs)

It's not a terrible schedule. Just a shit load of road games. The only "great" teams we play are the Raptors, Rockets, and Cavs. Those are the only teams way above our level.

We have 2 games against the Bucks who most would say are currently slightly better than us.

All the other games come against teams either on our level or below.
