Cant wait to read tomorrows Ask Ira - people will ask him to do their ecology after they jump off buildings because the Heat record fell to 12-8 on December 9th. Its the end of times

Were a shitty road team. I believe this is our 6th road and we got a shit pushed in 3 of the 6 times. Getting absolutely destroyed against Detroit and Charlotte is a bad look. We may win 3 games in January at this rate.

No we suck on the road right now. No argument there. Detroit is just a bad much up for us in a lot of ways. But Charlotte without Al, should be a win. I think we play Indy tough and beat them Friday. This game had trap written all over it after Al got popped for drugs today. I thought we would still win, never thought it would be a blowout this way,

Save for TJ and Winslow, guys out there for the Heat who don't get enough chances - they are actually trying and making the score a little more respectable - maybe next time we bench the bums earlier and give these guys a look - they are actually trying - though the other clowns didn't set the bar so high to begin with

Its the same one way or another, IMO - as far as I know, home or road, the dimensions of the court are the same all around the league - nothing is different except for maybe at home you have most of the people rooting for you, while on the road its the opposite. The whole home/road nonsense is stupid. Its not like our crowd is any good unless we are winning.

You look around the league, really in any sports, even some of the worst teams have better fans and more support than that of what we get down here.

I'm in that building almost every game, and the support is there.

And yes, dimensions the same, but circumstance are quite different.

Most average teams are tons better at home then on the road.

The debate isn't even worth having.

Stats speak for themselves.

Google win % home and road and get back to me.

And, no, this shitty performance isn't on Spos shoulders, but motivation is part of coaching and he's never been a motivator.

Next sumner will be huge for Riley/Heat.

I def could see a change coming once this team flames out in Jan/Feb.

And you have accused me of overreacting? I know you aren't here often this season but its the same crap every now - as soon as the Heat get into a deficit, its like peoples worlds come crashing down.

As I said the other night, as far as I remember, no one here or outside of here had us going 82-0 so losses here and there are expect and will happen. The Heat will still be going to the playoffs this season.

12-8 is a fairly bad start considering how favorable the schedule was.
The losses will soon be piling up quickly.

Yes sir.

Disappointing thing is last year team with a poor roster, we played much better on the road until the injuries became too much in late Feb/March. They competed on the road in the first 3-4 months of the season much better than this group.

I can't say I am there every game - but I am there 3-4 times a month. Too many scum bags in Miami, accessible seating is often impossible to find with so many scums taking spots in sports venues down here.

I never said the support wasn't there, I simply said the support isn't always good, especially in losses and down times in games, etc. Secondly, I am not debating anything - I don't debate. its not what I come here for. Its to say what I want and I wipe my ass with the rest of what is said here. Stats often lie.

As for the motivator crap, i will say the same thing I have said over on the Fins board to the people who complained about Philbin in that manner - These are highly paid, often overpaid, grown men who make a living out of playing a fucking sport. nothing life changing. If these fuckers can't find motivation from within, you can forget anyone else getting it out of them. Motivating is not a coaches job.

Win /Loss stats never lie, they are what they are.
Only stats you might throw out for every team is last handful of games after which most team are tanking or have seeding locked up.

And they are the best of the Eastern bunch.


And I agree to an extent about coaching, but getting you're players attention to go and and give max effort most of the time is a skill.
If it meant nothing, then why do so many teams make changes hoping to improve in that department?

Lastly, fans have every right to leave games whenever they want, and aren't always going to be in a frenzy during games. It is what it is.


It personally takes me on average 2 hours to get to games and about half of that to get home.
You can bet your ass I'm getting up and out 2 minutes early if that's going to save me 30 after.
