Aldrich did not go off on him if you watched the game. Almost all of Aldrich points game at the start of both halves when Bosh was guarding him. That was the game where Hassan game off the bench. Check the game log. Guarantee 12-15 of his points came before Whiteside checked in.

Andrea doesn't watch games - they are mostly passed his bed time by the time they come on, especially west coast games. He judges based on what he sees on the boxscore and his misguided " computers"

If he sees that Wade scored 20+ he thinks he had a great game even if those who watched the games saw the usual bad shots taken, the UNFORCED turnovers, the clutch missed FTs

He obviously doesn't see the stuff often not indicated on the boxscore as you noted above in your explanation. He just talks out of his ass.

Rudy Gobert slams Hassan in win...."You can have good stats sometime but still hurt your team.....numbers do lie sometimes #onlypeoplethatknowthegameunderstandthat" This after his double/double. Interesting. I do think that there have been many games where Hassan has strong stats but the other team's centers have outplayed him. See Knicks, Nets, and even his game. Trouble in Heat land..

Trouble in Heat land? Leave it to Andrea to make something out of absolutely nothing. My advice to you, consider the source. As bks, said, saying this shit after the Heat loss just signals the guy is a weak ass chump. Talk is cheap.

There is no " trouble in Heat land" its just the roughest patch in recent times. Still among the top 8 in the standings.

As has been said by many beat writers and others who cover the NBA last night about the Heat - and I think even CB finally said it last night -- This team lacks mental toughness. That tends to happen when your so called best player is often the weakest link mentally during rough patches - while there wasn't as much complaining from Wade as their usually is last night - he did let his struggles get to him and linger on for the whole game. I have noted mental toughness as a problem for this team for years - And that is where I blame Spo -- rather than let and make them play through rough patches in games, he constantly calls timeouts and stops the potential flow of getting back in games or stopping a run. Granted, Spo and this great coaching staff , like Riles did, often cook up some good stuff out of timeouts. But this team really has to get mentally tougher and get better at dealing with adverse moments.

By the way, Andrea, how did that " team-building" crap on an off-day work out for our Heat instead of working on their game? Yeah it obviously didn't work for shit.

They really should just get rid of the 3pt line at AAArena and the Heat shouldn't attempt one the rest of the season.

ASK IRA: Is a stubborn coach part of Heat's issues?

Good perspective again from Ira when a clueless fan tries to blame the coach in a baseless manner. Is Spo stubborn? yes, that is not a mystery. Every coach is in their own way. Most coaches are set in the ways and change very little in their approach regardless of results. The problem starts at the top - the coaches are working with what they have - limited as the resources may be. Its time for Riles to do something to help this roster out. I think this is why you never hear about Spo's job ever being on the line as much as some of our idiot fans would want -- the front office obviously is aware that Spo is working with a limited roster and he and the staff are doing the best they can with what they got. Lets hope at least Udrih comes back soon to run the point and we can keep TJ on the bench where he belongs. This team will get better once we get more healthy bodies in the mix.

So much for hold on to hope that Udrih would be back for the Heat tonight. Looking at the schedule, there just doesn't seem enough gaps for rest between games and to get healthy. It seems like the best bet to get guys healthy will be during the AS break.

So, that being said, the Heat have to find a way to keep their heads above water until then - Get healthy and go from there.

Here is a thought, lots of criticism towards the coaching staff given our struggles of late -- But, how about some criticism towards our training and medical staff? A failure to keep these guys healthy and fit for games.

Because he realizes he has to given we are without so many guys. Otherwise, this would be one of those games he SITS OUT for "rest" especially after being so useless the night before in a loss.

You do realize he has 2 injured shoulders right? You do noticed his shooting % is significantly down since he injured the shoulders right? So no if he sat out it would not be just to rest. It would be heal a injury that hurting his play

I knew that would get you going. Calm down. It wasn't that serious.

Speaks to what I have always said - they need to live inside the three point line and closer to the basket relentlessly and worry about trying to get better and more consistent from there before they start worrying about jumpers outside the paint and 3's. Feed CB and Hassan - not only would that result in better shots but the opposing defense getting tired and banged up
