Lucky that happenned.....We need to win out to make the playoffs and need some losses from other teams. The Celtics went into Detroit and got the lead and won double digits.

Boston have a home & home with Cleveland but Cleveland is now locked into the 2 seed after their win tonight so I doubt they play their stars.

We are in trouble.

We must win out to feel safe. We may be able to sneak in due to a TB if we lose one more game.

Only good news is we have the TB with 2 of the 3 teams were fighting with so we just need to finish with the same record as Brooklyn or Boston

I think Boston is going to make it. They're facing a lot of teams with absolutely nothing to play for.

Nets and Pacers and Celtics all playing better than us now. Uphill climb with the Bulls, Raptors, Magic and 76ers still left for us. 2-2 is realistic.

Remaining schedules for the 3 other teams we are fighting ith Charlotte is pretty much done now.

Boston- 2 games vs Cleveland, VS Toronto, & @ Milwaukee- Should go 3-1 because none of the teams except maybe Toronto would have anything to play for.

Brooklyn- VS WSH, @ Milwaukee, VS CHICAGO, & VS Orlando- Most likely 3-1 but 2-2 is possible if Chicago is still playing for something.

Indiana- @ DET, VS OKC, VS WSH, & @ Memphis- 2 meaningful games so I'm going to say 3-1 but 2-2 is is very possible

Yeah we really need to win out.....44 losses doesn't look like it will cut it.

43 losses probably get us in on a tiebreaker with Brooklyn or Boston

I can see us anything from 2-2 to 4-0.

I doubt that either Toronto or Chicago would prefer be 3 over 4 at this point.
Seems to me that you avoid the Cavs as long as possible.

Maybe we catch a break the next 2 games and face some reserves.
Both Bulls and Raptors will be on 2 nd night of back to back.

Of course, neither wants to fall to 5 so they do have some incentive still.

I'm still torn on whether I want to make it or not.

I have myself finding positives about the situation either way.

We blew our top 10 pick with the win against Charlotte......at this point, it seems like might as well try for the playoffs but just don't see it in the cards with the way we have played and others are playing but when you are battling it out with teams 6 plus games under 500 anything is possible.

We were ahead of Charlotte before the game.
I believe we are fine as long as we finish behind Brooklyn, Boston and Indiana.

I agree we should try, at least until we lose again, but the dumbest thing we could possibly do is end up the 9 seed.
Then we get nothing.

Turnup is right and you're wrong. We're not fighting with Charlotte. Pretty much we would need Utah and Indy to finish with a better record than us to get the pick. Right now due to Indy owning the tiebreaker we would get that pick I believe

Wade really wants to make the playoffs and I think Dragic does also since he hardly ever made the playoffs.

Also would be nice for a guy like Whiteside who never made the playoffs to get a little experience under his belt for next year

For sure, for now, we aren't going to try to lose ( meaning our best players will play).

Prob is we often lose when we're trying to win.

Players on the court always try.
If Riley decides to tank, Wade will have a knee issue, Whiteside will have a hand issue, and Dragic will have a back issue.

With a better and healthier roster, things will surely change.

As for the state of the heat at this point, if going 4-0 is what they need - then better hope the Bulls and Raptors decide to rest their guys, otherwise those might be losses - then anything can happy with Orlando and Philly
