More injuries. Making the playoffs would be a waste of time.

Would you rather make the playoffs and lose in 4 or 5 and not have a 1st round pick or would you rathr miss the playoffs and get our top 10 pick? Pretty simple decision if you ask me

If 14 teams don't make the playoffs, then what makes you think we will get a top 10 pick?

If it was guaranteed, I wouldn't mind missing the playoffs , but we'll prob pick 11 th the way this seasons going.

As usual it comes when they game is practically lost - as always he takes the easy way out trying to show up when it doesnt matter, rather then give his team what he needs when they really need it

Down 14......and we are not playing against us and a team/coach that will fold and not execute down the stretch. Season in the balance. I thought we would lose by 20.

I agree with you. We would need to lose out to get a guaranteed top ten pick. We would need to tank. Perhaps, we should at this point.

The down side of the season probably ending sooner rather than later for the Heat - is the fact that is been a season of adversity but of great fun and humbling experience - the reaction by the “fans” as a result of the Heat not making the playoffs will show their true colors and I cant wait!

Currently with the standings the way they are, the only team we have a better record than that needs to finish with a better record than us is Indy. Once that happens we get our pick.

LOL. A true fan will acknowledge that this season was defined by Lebron leaving, injuries, and the coaching staff showing their limitations in terms of offensive playcalling. Knowing this team, they probably don't shut it down after tonight and lose the top ten pick and miss the playoffs.

Probably fair that the Pacers get the victory that keep us out of the playoffs....well if you don't count blowing significant double digit leads against the likes of the 76ers at home, the Bucks on the road, and the Pistons on the road where we just could not execute on the offensive side of the court.

Well yeah but it is very rare for those teams that just missed the playoffs to move up. Movement usually take place between 1-10. Teams 11-14 usually remains the same

On the positive side, Hassan was discovered this year, the Cavaliers did not win in Miami, Riley saw the limitations of our offensive play calling, and Wade/Bosh/Deng/Dragic showed they can be a force.

We have a great chance to win at least 4 of the last 5.

We'll see the Bobcats without Jefferson, and then both the Bulls and Raptors play in Orlando the night before they play us.
