The only way we will see more of Beasley off the bench, as we should -- will be if Spo and the coaching staff get their heads out of their ass, come to their senses and remove the useless scrub that is Shane Battier from the starting lineup as they should have done long ago. Bring back UD as the starter - and insert Beasley back into the regular rotation - or, as some have suggested, start Birdman. Fact of the matter is, the scrub does not belong in the starting lineup and is messing with the rest of the rotation because he gets over-valued and doesnt do shit but hurt the team.

Alarming stat of the first half of the season for the Heat - Of the 14 loses by the Heat 9 have come to teams with sub .500 records. The many apologist on this board will find a way to excuse that stat, but there is no excuse for that stat. They will have to fix that in the second half in order to gain the momentum necessary going into the playoffs to win a title.

From tonight on - Wade needs to stop being a diva and not miss any games . He was playing fine and showed no signs of discomfort during the ASG . If he can play in the most meaningless game of the season , he can play in any game .

It is in his best interest to at least play , even if it means not starting in all games - the remainder of the season . Otherwise , come playoff time , when he has an off game, he will have no excuse and no one to blame but himself for sitting out so many games for no reason . 30 games left before the playoffs . Not enough games remain for him to sit out and expect to have momentum going into the playoffs . He needs to play . Spo also needs to go back to expanding the rotation and playing more guys - that is when this team is better . It will do them good for the playoffs .
