First of all, be very careful what you wish for. I'm not entirely sure you want Philbin as your OC....secondly, the ONLY way Harbaugh is leaving San Fran is via a trade. Probably gonna take at least a 1st rounder, possible a second as well. Not sure Miami will be willing to give up all that. I say hire John Gruden and be done with it.

I'd take just about anybody over Brian Schottenheimer at this point. He's one of the worst coordinators that I've seen.

I completely agree. It will take a 1st rounder, probably a 2nd as well. No way Ross parts with that. Oakland won't bat an eye, of course they would part with their entire draft. The only reason the media is tying Harbaugh to the Dolphins is because Ross chased him in the past, but that ship has sailed. I would love for John Gruden to leave broadcasting and take the job. His ability to find great talent is 2nd to none. Plus, he's an aggressive old school coach that would make this a very disciplined football team.So long Coyle....

Agreed he was supposed to have a stronger leg but he can't kick the easy ones. Carp wasn't much better I'd take the kid from preseason he was money! Potter!

I really think the reason why Ireland let him go was because, if you remember, the previous season Carpenter missed TWO field goals that would have given Miami 2 more wins(we finished 7-9 that season). Each kick was in overtime, each kick would have been a game winner. It still was just another dumbass decision, in a LONG LINE of dumbass decisions made by Jeff Ireland.
