Injuries arent an excuse - at least not a good one... its not like they have been all that impressive when healthy anyway

Since the injuries Denver has scored 22 straight points. Fins must improve their depth at DB and oline next draft to take the next step. This year they will be lucky to find enough players to play hard to make the playoffs...

When the Fins were going through front office and coaching overhauls a couple seasons ago, I said that before Mike Sherman is let go, Coyle should be the one to go. For as good as they have been, he has too often failed to get the most out of his players ... I blame the delayed development of Dion Jordan as a player on the defensive coaches as much as the off the field and injuries. Our corners have been playing off all season long - its almost useless for them to be on the field

its coincidence that those 22 points have come after injuries but not to be used as an excuse. Denver has injuries as well. This game was lost long before that. Even with a lead for most of the game - the loss could be seen coming for a while - at least for me

One thing is evident ... this team needs to target, at minimum, two quality DBs in the draft.

Problem is when we get one and they develop into good stock, we cant ever seem to hold on to them.

Its unfortunate that Dion Jordan may be labled as a bust because its certainly not all his fault. Would love to keep that kid around but he deserves better so he should probably seek another team that will do him right

Agreed we need to address the secondary through the draft - if we do it through FA they have to be younger , not the old farts we have pursued this past few seasons because they wont last long.

What a pathetic display from the defense. That onside kick was buffoonery. Tannehill with the key boneheaded play. That pick was solely on him. Throwing the ball to a guy who has a defender whispering in his ear. This team seriously knows how to give games away.
